Job title: Content Writer and Online Marketing Executive
Salary: £16-18K pa (pro rata) depending on skills and experience
Up to 30 hours per week
Location: Dorchester, Dorset
We are seeking a Content Writer and Online Marketing Exec to join our busy team located in Dorchester, Dorset. You will have excellent copywriting skills and a passion for “all things web” including blogs and social networking tools. First class communications skills – written and verbal – are essential. You will report directly to the Managing Director.
Key responsibilities and duties
- Develop and plan content creation and social media activity for client websites with agreed priorities, direction and goals
- Research, write and edit articles, blogs and social media snippets on a wide range of subjects
- Liaise with clients and create content for our client websites
- Use online and offline social networking techniques to promote our client websites
- Maintain a number of corporate blogs on behalf of our clients
Person specification
Key skills:
- Computer literate and have working knowledge of the Internet and search engines.
- Ability to write great content that engages with the reader and holds their attention
- You must possess good client care skills, be well organised, show initiative, work to strict deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
Experience:
- Proven experience in using a wide range of social media tools in a business environment.
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent from accredited institution.
- Experience on a year-for-year basis may be substituted for degree.

Job title: Junior Web Developer
Salary:£10-14K pa (pro rata) depending on skills and experience
Up to 30 hours per week
Location:Dorchester, Dorset
We are seeking a Junior Web Developer to join our busy team located in Dorchester, Dorset. You will be an ambitious PHP Web Developer seeking to join a company that aims to push the boundaries of technology and creativity.
You will be given opportunities to learn and progress fast, and will be part of a small team creating websites, screen applications and e-marketing. This is the job that will turn your skills into a passion and a career.
Key responsibilities and duties
- Develop websites to W3C standards using XHTML and PHP
- Develop e-Newsletters
- Review websites and blogs of potential customers identifying opportunities to enhance
- Liaise with clients and create content for our client websites
Person specification
Key skills:
- Be proficient in hand coding PHP, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and have an understanding of security techniques.
- Have proficiency with cross-browser, cross-platform issues, and dedicated to Web standards.
- You must possess good client care skills, be well organised, show initiative, work to strict deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
Experience:
- Have excellent problem solving skills and enjoy a good challenge.
- Be highly motivated and proactive, and relish the challenging of working for a dynamic, growing company.
- Have some previous commercial programming experience.
- Have experience of taking Photoshop PSD files and converting to working XHTML documents.
- Have experience of working with CMS and blogging platforms – particularly WordPress.
- Have experience of frameworks, particularly with JavaScript
